This is a rich, wonderful, deep immersion in meditation and being. It is beautifully narrated in a peaceful tone, with gentle, soothing background music. I have read nearly everything by Eckhart Tolle, Jon Kabat-Zin, Thich Nhat Hahn and Shinzen Young, and have been searching for the perfect implementation of their shared principles. This is the very best in guided meditation I have found. I have enjoyed Jon Kabat-Zin's guided mindfulness meditation, Shinzen Young's guided meditations, and the guided meditations of Meditation Oasis. This is, for me, deeper and more beautiful than any I have experienced. This is a program of two hours that contains several guided meditations, all of which complement one another, and all of which I plan to include in my daily meditations. At last I feel I can stop looking for the programmed meditation that I have been seeking. If you have been looking for a teacher or program for you meditation practice, this is certainly worth trying.

After years of abusing my body and spirit with stressful jobs and late nights, I have only recently started to make a honest effort to live a more balanced life. Unlike the previous reviewer David, I have not read any of the books cited and am completely new to meditation. I was a little skeptical and felt a little silly at first but I thought I would give it a try.
Three weeks ago, I put on my earbuds in as I was going to bed with one of the PM meditations on. As I breathed deliberately, I actually felt my rib cage expanding and joints popping. The voice was beautiful and relaxing and guided me into a deep relaxation and restful sleep. The next morning, I put on one of the AM meditations as soon as I woke and have been doing this almost every day since. Although my mind still drifts out of focus often and I am not able to visualize the colors of the seven chakras (the energy centers of the body, I had to look this up) with much success, I found the peaceful deep breathing very relaxing and beneficial.
Last week, I went for my monthly massage and the therapist quickly observed that I seemed a lot less stressed out, without my usual tough knots all over my shoulders and backs. I also feel a lot less pain in my neck and shoulders after a long day's work.
I have since gotten a few other guided meditation audio books but I think this one is still my favorite. Each AM or PM program is about 15 minutes and very manageable. Truly the best $5.87 I have ever spent.
