Unendurable narration

I squirmed through almost 6 chapters before caving in to save my sanity. Imagine a sketch on SNL where a woman is playing a public service announcer or narrating a museum audio tour. Cloying, saccharine, affected narration. I am an adhd mom with adhd kids, and I'd rather live in chaos than listen to this.

I was frustrated that so much of the advice involved hiring help or spending money. I had hoped for more information on how to change thinking patterns and habits.
