Publisher's Summary

Two books that will open your eyes to the human mind.
Book 1: Some criminals are psychopaths, and some psychopaths are criminals, but for the most part, the psychopaths among us are ordinary people with distinct traits and qualities. You might even know some yourself, or perhaps you have been manipulated by one in the past. In this book, you will learn, among others:

Some differences between sociopaths and psychopaths
What role a conscience plays in the psychopath's mind
How to see symptoms and signs in both children and adults, and how to prevent children from being affected by it entirely
Manipulation strategies psychopaths use to get their way
Examples of some of the most infamous, extreme criminals who showed no regrets
Several ways to spot psychopaths and recognize their behavior as being potentially harmful
Various root causes of psychopathy

Book 2: Although those with personality disorders are all different, it is common for a large part of society to have at least some kind of disorder. Sociopaths have a distinct disorder that makes them different from all the other ones. In this book, you will learn:

What sets sociopaths apart from others.
Possible causes for sociopathy.
The main differences between narcissists, borderliners, schizophrenics, and others with specific disorders.
Which dangerous sociopaths made the world burn and destroyed the lives of those around them.
How to handle sociopaths more effectively by protecting yourself from their sinister tactics.
A variety of ways to treat sociopaths or minimize the symptoms.

This is an excellent source to quickly identify, understand, and learn how to deal & defend yourself from sociopaths / psychopaths. The author present many useful information and references to well recognized books of other experts in the field to sustains his explanations. As the title said, you'll learn what a sociopath / psychopath is, tests to identify the levels of the psychopath, what to expect from it, how to deal and defend yourself from a psychopath as well as many other related things. You'll also get references to other sources to get depth knowledge on the subject. The narrator did a good job with this audiobook too. I'm very satisfied with the content of this audiobook.

An interesting topic...

Having to move everyday around with a sociopath really is a difficult thing that a person can face. If one cannot handle the pressure that they bring to you, you will easily break down and everything will start to fall into pieces. Thanks to this book because I have learned many strategies and techniques on how to deal with them at work and with your life. Things are going smoothly because this one taught me on how to counter manipulate sociopaths and control them instead of you being controlled. I am so grateful to have read this one and thankful enough to appreciate what others cannot.

a clear deeper sight

I found this book most helpful in that the author included his own thoughts and experiences on the matter, but he also included interviews of those patients willing to relate their thoughts and motives with their activities being examined. It's not medical level, but it goes far deeper than most popular writings on this subject.
