I especially love hostas with beautiful, rich leaves but I just hate when slugs eaten them. I don’t try to spread sand around it, but it looks simple and more natural than blue pellets that I really afraid because kids and animals can accidentally taste.
Also I never know that I shouldn’t cut dried steams of tulips as they may never grow again. So I won’t do it anymore.
Susan gives very practical advices also what to do with perennial herbs, how to cut them and what are they favourite position. I love natural medicine so always have herbs in my garden but sometimes they just too poor and have insects on them.
