Publisher's Summary

Learning a programming language can be scary, but with Java, you are going to be learning one of the simpler ones that is going to assist you in learning other languages such as JavaScript and Python.
Java is relatively basic and has a few different things that you must know with each containing parts that are going to seem a little confusing. When you are working with Java, it is going to seem like your code is messy, because it is.
Java is not a client-friendly language, but it is effective. There is no real way to make Java look pretty like you can with Python.
In this book you are going to learn how to use Java, the variables of Java, arrays for Java and how Java is controlled.
Learning Java is going to benefit you because it is going to help you in writing web programs as well as being a stepping stone for learning other programming languages. If your job depends on you knowing how to write source code such as an I.T. job, then this is the perfect language to help push you forward.
Showing an initiative when it comes to learning new languages is going to show your boss that you are ready and willing to take on new challenges.

Well structured Java guide

Which scene was your favorite?

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I listened to the entire book in 1 setting it was very interesting and informative to me.

Any additional comments?

I recommend that you know the basics of Java before getting this book. I think that an absolute beginner who knows nothing about Java would have some problems following it.
Other than that, I found it very interesting and very well structured guide. AI is an extremely interesting topic lately and it is great to dip your feet into it with Java.

This book certainly can help. I recommend it.

This is a fantastic book to learn Java

Would you consider the audio edition of Java to be better than the print version?

Yes, I don't have time to read the print version, so the audio version helped!

What about JD Kelly’s performance did you like?

Great narrator, the voice is fits on the theme of the book. Informative and calm.

Any additional comments?

Amazing book that I would recommend every Java developer have in his library. This book covers the best practices aspects of programming Java that are pretty hard to pick up without years and years of trial and error and seeing what works best.

I was interested in the programming Java language for a long time. I was looking for a good book. This book helped me a lot. Thanks to the author!
