Publisher's Summary

San Francisco: a beloved city famous for its cable cars, its Chinatown, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Seven hundred and fifty thousand people live there, drawn to its quality of life. But it's a dream life that could turn into a nightmare at any moment.Scientists believe there's a 62-percent chance the San Francisco Bay Area will be hit by a devastating earthquake sometime in the next 30 years. There will be no advance warning; unlike hurricanes and tornados, earthquakes cannot be predicted. The level of destructive energy unleashed by the coming quake will be more powerful than several hundred atomic bombs.

San Francisco Earthquake

This is a predictive episode of the series regarding the possibility of another major earthquake hitting San Francisco. While speculative, it does cover the 1906 earthquake and steps to prepare for a disaster. If you are a fan of weather related tales, you will enjoy this one.
