Great book. Narration needs a bit of help.
I appreciated the conceptual nature and premise of the book. As a family physician I am frustrated by the blind following of "evidence," that often causes harm and ignorance of therapeutic options that are too often ignored or misrepresented by most allopathic (and osteopathic) physicians. At the same time I would like to see more collaboration amongst other health practitioners. "Health and Healing" provides a solid foundation around why working together and continuously questioning our "science," is good medicine. I look forward to more in depth topics aimed at clinicians as well as the growth of integrative medicine in my own as well as other's practice.
My biggest frustration about the narration was the constant mispronunciation of medical terms. If a narrator plans to perform a medical book, the need to learn the words. The errors potentially downgrade the books authority, which is unfortunate.
