As a Personal Trainer who developing my career more towards the holistic side of health coaching I have found this book a breath of fresh air. The content covers so many areas that trinkets and health coaches alike talk about. I especially like the mix of both science and eastern style practices. This book is so much more than a sleep book, it's a guide book to healthy living.

...but in a good way. I was expecting a more scientific explanation of sleep disorders and the latest science evidence on solutions along with a few practical implementation tips given the author's background. This book does not go into the scientific detail though it does touch on some of these points. A big chunk of the book draws on spiritual and meditative traditions and the narrative includes a personal element. That said, while I was not expecting this, I found the book interesting, engaging and helpful. However, some people may be slightly uncomfortable with this holistic approach so this review is meant to prepare/warn them. The narration is excellent.
