This book does not lend itself to being an Audiobook. If you space out for a second, you can find yourself lost for the next 5-10 minutes. The author does not repeat what he's talking about, so you have to pay careful attention.
I'm familiar with DBT and other common therapeutic techniques, so I didn't find anything new in this book. The book would have far more value as a reference text where you can page your way to a specific chapter for review.
Sam Slydell has a nice voice, but the material droned on making hard to stay focused.

I enjoy this book because it offers tools for self help, alongside understanding. I am still going back to listen, write things down and work on the exercises!

Its a practical book, not so theoretical making it easier to understand. Reveals the secret in changing ones behavior has a lot to do with our activities.
The book has clear examples to illustrate each point and helpful guidelines on how to change behavior and alter thought patterns. Everyone should know about this book because it has the power to make a difference in the lives of many.thanks to the author..
