As a nurse in the genetics department, Sarah witnesses the mutation of the AIDS vaccine. Instead of a cure, the vaccine turns into a viral curse, spreading rapidly and infecting patients. Now the dead walk the earth, and Sarah is the only hope for a small group of survivors.
But zombies aren't the only threat. Winter is on its way, and supplies are running low. Now it's up to Sarah to lead the group to warmer climes so they can survive. When a new threat reveals itself, they must fight for their lives one more time. Will anyone survive?

Average zombie book but a great ending

What did you like best about this story?

I thought the ending was thought provoking.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I felt that the narrator was so so. I could hear some errors.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction. It was an average zombie story.

Any additional comments?

I felt it ended too fast after the plot just began to get good. It could have been longer and it would have been better. I gave 4 stars because I really liked the ending.

Not worth the $10 that is for sure!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The story did not flow well and the characters had un-realistic reasons to circumstances.

Would you ever listen to anything by Jean Booth again?

No, I couldn't get past the first hour.

What didn’t you like about Ashley Amo’s performance?

She read the story more than performed the characters.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Maybe if I was a kid I would have thought it was entertaining.
