Publisher's Summary

It's June 15, and Guy Burkhart wakes up screaming. It's not the first time he's woken up screaming. Nor is it the first June 15. Based on a story by Frederik Pohl, this episode of X Minus One originally aired on March 14, 1956. X Minus One premiered in April 1955 on NBC and ran until January 1958. Deja vu all over again!

What made the experience of listening to X Minus One the most enjoyable?

This is a great story by Frederick Pohl. Quite alot like Ground hog day.

What did you like best about this story?

The story is fresh and kept me guessing up until the end. Why did they keep reliving the same day all over again? Were they still human? What did the elevator ads have to do with the story?

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Did not recognize any actors in this production.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When he finally discovers what happened and why. Oh my goodness!
