Don't waste a credit OR the $13!

First I nearly stopped and tried to return it after 5 minutes of the author droning on in a constant monotone. Shame on you Audible. I expect some quality control at your prices.

But the Arthur legend storyline said "try me, I may be one of those great stories with just a bad narrator." WRONG! The characters are never truly developed nor is the reality in which it's taking place ever truly fleshed out. And even worse....it ends on a cliffhanger sequel type ending.

Do yourself a favor, pass on this one no matter how much you love the Arthur legend.

Fun read for Younger people - nice variant

If you could sum up X-Calibur: The Return in three words, what would they be?

Fun, light, creative

What did you like best about this story?

It was a great variant off the King Arthur legend, set in the future, outerspace, and with aliens to boot.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The reading was good. They didn't seem to record this in a sound studio, so there appeared to be gaps of total silence, the pauses being a bit too long. There was a slight echo during the reading, and no sound at all during the pauses. I found that disconcerting.
