Lost interest

The MC would say that he wanted one thing but yet he would do the exact opposite. He was very inconsistent. Other then that the story was not what I expected and was very boring for me because the MC did nothing. It felt like he sat there while everyone around him did everything for him.

No story

21 hour preque for a short story. A very short story. There is No character development. The interminable reading of game stats is monotonous beyond belief, and without them the story could have been cut down to 16-17 hours.

tedious

zero character development, zero story development, no plot, storyline (such as it is) is like watching a youtube video of someone playing simcity. I made it halfway waiting for something to happen but it never did, once and a while a potentially interesting character would be introduced but after a single paragraph they would be lost to the sands of time as the main character fast forwarded the world and you'd never hear about them again.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the exceptional narration i would have given up long ago.

too sexual for my taste

I liked the general concept of the world building but the constant sexual references were too much.

Needs a different reader

An entertaining book but a reader with a slight lisp makes it very hard to take action scenes seriously.

Nonsense<br />

I got the impression that the book was written by a "wannabe" game creator. There's not much story, no depth to the characters, nothing to get behind. It's a post adolescents exercise in RPG stat building. Moreover, it's a blatant rouse to sell sequels, much like so many of today's fiction writers, to make money, they opt for quantity over quantity.

Love a new take on the genre!

I absolutely loved this title! I picked it up on a whim and immediately dropped my other books to put all my effort into this one. This is a take on LitRPG that I have not experienced yet and I loved it! The main book is more about world building than anything else but the side book at the end was a story within the story and I enjoyed it as much as the main story.

The narrator was great and has not let me down on any titles he has worked on that I have had the pleasure of purchasing.

Why?

I liked your other series but this felt so pointless. The second book just makes me angery at how annoying stupid the main character is. Do nothing because he cant get involved just to kill more halfings?

I wanted to keep listening hoping that you'd do something with the story but now I'm done with two books and just want a refund.

spoiler: CENTAURS KILL HALFINGS WITH THE HELP OF THE MAIN CHARACTER AND HE USES THIS AS A WAY TO MAKE PEACE AND TEACH A LANGUAGE. COULDN'T DO THAT WHEN THE FIGHTS STARTED, JUST NEEDED TO KILL PROPLE? I HOPE YOU KILL THE MAIN CHARACTER AND BURN THE PLANS FOR A FOUTH BOOK.
