Will Bay get eaten by bears? Will Thistle kiss a frog? Will Sam climb Clove's hair to rescue her from a tower? And, better yet, will Landon turn himself into a prince and slip a glass slipper on Bay's foot? Each task becomes harder as the story progresses, and as the tales darken, things start to become dangerous.

Can the Winchester witches survive Aunt Tillie's twisted mind? Or will they be lost in a book forever?

Loved it!

Amanda M. Lee has done it again, and I loved it! Sending everyone to fairy tale land was an enjoyable book. I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series.

Fairytale / Fantasy short

Very funny! This story makes fun of are childhood fairytales. While taking a look at the flaws in the characters of her books. She does all this with her usual snarky humorous way.

Different narrator!

Love the books, love the world, love the characters... but getting 7 books in and finding out that that was the last with the original narrator? Not happy. What I don't get is that this book is between books 6 and 7, but I only found that out when they talk about getting cursed into a book in the beginning of book 7 and I had to look up the book order on the author's website to find out that I missed a full book and several shorts. AND books 1-7 have one narrator, this book and who knows what else(since I haven't gotten there yet) have a new narrator. This is, I believe, the 4th series that I read that has changed narrators partway through and I just don't understand. Why get us attached to how they sound and then change? those other series, I can't even listen to anymore because the new narrator messed everything up. I'm attempting this new narrator, we'll see if I can get used to it...

This story has decided something for me...

Aunt Tillie is not a gruff matriarch with a heart of gold.
She's a villain, pure and simple.

I have been on the fence about Tillie for several stories now, but trapping her family and friends in nightmare worlds so she can do something she knows is illegal, then gloating about it to Landon afterwards when he was just trying to do his job, is selfish, mean-spirited, and even sociopathic. I have no goodwill left for the character, and neither should her victims, er, i mean her family. Its been bothering me for a long time about what could have happened to Bay, Thistle, and Clove's parents, and what it means for the current crop of Winchester girls. Why couldn't their mothers find even one nice guy who would stick around? Clearly, as Thistle has suggested in several books now, Tillie drove them away. If the mothers were able, and not under the thumb of a witchy tyrant, I have to think they would have left too.

I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the dream world, but its past time to seal Tillie's powers and send her to a home.

New twist

I didn't mind this book but it was overwhelming in detail and quick-changes. It says book one of a spinoff series and personally I don't think I'll get any more of the series if they all involve trips into the book. It was fun - once.

Issue with audible

The issue I had with this book is the audio shut down multiple times and I had to keep pressing play..

OMG Aris where are you? This narrator is Bad

I cannot take this narrator. Everyone has a NY accent. I cannot enjoy the story with these voices. I love this series,s but this is just too much to bare.

Annoying

I would have enjoyed the book more if the performer didn’t yell. Otherwise she sounded bored. This frustrated me.

narrator sounds drunk

I couldn't finish it. The narrator sounded like she was either bored with the story or drunk, frequently slurring words together.
