Publisher's summary

Elena bears the mark of the wit'ch upon her palm, the crimson stain that testifies to the awesome power of unimaginable potency: wild, seductive, difficult to control. Only a mistress of blood magick can stand against the foul minions and all-corrupting evil of the Dark Lord. But Elena is not yet the mistress of her magick. Protected by an ageless warrior and a band of renegades, she quests for a lost city where prophecies speak of a mystic tome that holds the key to the Dark Lord's defeat. But if the Dark Lord finds her first, Elena will become his most fearsome weapon.

Sy-wen is a girl-child of an ocean-dwelling clan, bond-mates to the terrible and majestic sea dragons. But ancient bonds tie Sy-wen to the land she does not know, to a man she has never seen - and to a legend asleep in stone deep beneath A'loa Glen - a legend beginning to wake. Now, as Elena and Sy-wen converge on A'loa Glen from land and sea, will the forces they unleash lead to a future of freedom - or an eternity under the Dark Lord's yoke?

Excellent series

I read this series years back and loved it. Wanted to reconnect with it again so decided to listen to the audible version. It's as impactful now, as it was back then. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

great book.

I totally enjoyed it. The narration was fabulous . it's a really good story that is well written and I love the narrator who does different voices and makes it so that I constantly want to go back and listen.

one of my favorite series

I absolutely love this series. I read all the books years ago and have wanted to re-read them again. I am just as entertained listening to it now as I was reading it years ago.

Spectacular world; mediocre writing

What did you like best about Wit'ch Storm? What did you like least?

The world created by Mr. Clemens was beautiful, complex and ripe for the story teller's craft, but the story was at best predictable, the images disgusting, and the characters shallow. I kept hoping for better.

Better and Better

After listening to the first book in this series I had to get the second...and now, just like potato chips...cant just do one. The story is getting richer. The characters are interesting. The narration is well done as well. I do not focus on the narrators voice at all. I can tell the difference between all of the characters and the narrator of the story. One small criticism .. the voice of Merrick is far to ..apathetic, ethereal and aloof for even the fair folk. I am currently getting the third book in the series and can't wait!
