I loved it! I couldn't stop listening!
Not only is the story line great the performance is too! I hope that there will be a sequel because this book is perfect for one, I honestly don't want the story to stop! it's one of those story lines that doesn't feel rushed or as though the author just threw an ending in at the last minute. I want to know what happens next, hurry and write another or maybe 10 more... Good job!

Started good, fell off the rails
This novel had a really great premise: an alien spacecraft shows up near the ISS. Mission control loses contact with the ISS and sends 2 new astronauts up to investigate and try to make contact. Unfortunately, the execution of this idea is abysmal. Many of the events are just implausible (like the fact that Russia’s TSUP would allow a single NASA employee to take control over their operations and billion-dollar spacecraft), or that a washed-up astronaut would be sent on a mission to make first contact. Many of the characters are completely shallow, with questionable motivations, inexplicable actions, and ultimately little redeeming qualities to make the reader care about them. There are really 3 main characters the author wants us to care about: Alex, Shawn, and Sally. None of them are that great. Sally was sent up for a specific job and she really didn’t do any of it except for a few feeble attempts. The main bad guy was completely one-dimensional. The author tried to add some depth in the final chapter, but failed, and his character made no sense. In fact, the entire novel is meandering the whole time never explaining anything, and then tries to thrown a bunch of half-baked explanations at the end which made little sense. Ultimately, the novel was entertaining, but mediocre and forgettable.
NOTE: I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
