Publisher's Summary

Marketing manager Katherine "Kitty" Katt steps into the middle of what appears to be a domestic dispute turned ugly. And it only gets uglier when the man turns into a winged monster, straight out of a grade-Z horror movie, and goes on a killing spree. Though Kitty should probably run away, she springs into action to take the monster down. In the middle of the chaos, a handsome hunk named Jeff Martini appears, sent by the "agency" to perform crowd control. He's Kitty's kind of guy, no matter what planet he's from. And from now on, for Kitty, things are going to be sexy, dangerous, wild, and out of this world.

Critic Reviews

"This delightful romp has many interesting twists and turns as it glances at racism, politics, and religion en route. It will have fanciers of cinematic sf parodies referencing Men in Black, Ghost Busters, and X-Men." (Booklist Starred Review)

Fun stuff!

Good old fashioned fun campy sci fi with lots of twists. I laughed out loud a few times. Narrator was good caught the tongue in cheek style but kept it grounded. I'll def check out more with Nordlinger. It went on a little long and some of the characters weren't as good as the heroine but overall, really enjoyed!

Give me another Martini!

Kitty and Martini, death by a mont blanc pen - snarky heroine?! I LOVED it all! I never see enough strong women with real voices these days and between Gini Koch and Romy Nordlinger I was in heaven! No, this isn't "I am woman hear me roar" and it's not a "serious" classic sci-fi. But it kicks butt majorly! It's very clever writing and it's fun, sexy with fantastic narration. Men in black meets Brigid Jones?
