Love it

Simon Prebble is my favorite narrator on Amazon audible. The story is short and captivating. Well worth the few bucks to help get through a slow part of the work day.

Something is wrong here. . .

I have read several Robert McCammon books, and for the most part have enjoyed them a lot, so when I saw this one on audible, noticed that it was very short but with a great teaser, and selling for the irresistible price of free, I grabbed it up. Then I started wondering why it had only a few ratings and only one review (which was five stars). Surely more people had read and loved this book in the six years it has been out. So I listened, and it was typical McCammon, action-packed, lots of twists and turns, a bit unbelievable, but always well written. Then it just stopped. Ha! It is a chapter from a much longer book from a whole series! Mystery solved. Darn. I’m still waiting for the last two books in the Matthew Corbett series. I’m not sure I want to start another one just now. But I’ll keep it in mind.
