Science fiction at its best.

If you could sum up The Time Portal in three words, what would they be?

Brilliant, exciting, adventure.

What did you like best about this story?

Everyone knows that things happen for a reason and this story is the proof. Who would have believed when Lucky had an horrific injury it would leave him with an amazing gift - the ability to jump through time.

This time travel makes him incredibly rich, changing life for Lucky and his friends, opening new doors and making unbelievable things possible, like the inventions of his friend The Professor. However, things like this do not go unnoticed, others are watching him too.

This great story has fantastic characters, excitement, intrigue, suspense, adventure and brilliant storyline.

What does Al Benelli bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I just love listening to Al Benelli, his wonderful narration of The Time Portal brings this great science fiction story wonderfully to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved it!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Time Portal to be better than the print version?

I never read the print edition but the reviews on Amazon for the print edition influenced my decision to buy this.

What did you like best about this story?

I really enjoyed how the chief character, Lucky dealt with the corrupt government official who was trying to have him killed.

What about Al Benelli’s performance did you like?

I loved that there were so many distinct and unique voices. It was like listening to a cast of characters. I know someone else said that in their review, but it is very true.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. I knew it was more than 12 hours long but I truly found myself wanting to move quickly to the next chapter. I did however put it down a few times.

Any additional comments?

My first "time travel" book. Surely not my last. I'll be looking for Book 2 in the series.
