Despite the Imperium's best attempts to forestall the ork plague that is wreaking havoc in human space, an ork attack moon now hangs over Terra. As its malevolent presence gazes down at the Imperial Palace, terrified citizens run riot in the streets. In a last-ditch attempt to destroy the attack moon, a proletarian crusade is launched. Thousands of ships large and small head to the moon carrying billions of citizens, all eager to take the fight to the enemy. It seems the attack has a chance of success as the invasion force lands safely, but the orks have yet to spring their trap....

It is what it is

David Annarale like Nick Kyme will always just be filler. Gareth Armstrong as narrator as always is a joy to listen to.

One of the best of this series so far.

One of the best of the series so far. The descriptions of such great peaks and valleys of emotion are captivating.

Nothing happens.

For the first 10 chapter literally nothing happens. Nothing. Well performed/read, but that can’t make up for ten chapters of nothing.

Brutal space literature.

This book really drives home the grim dark tone of the 40k universe with enough twists and turns to keep you pulling and pushing one way to another before collapsing under the weight of the events.

Great performance by the narrator who, among other voices, does a fantastic ork voice that makes me smile with sadistic glee as much as the Ork lines from the first book did.

Honestly, this series has been quite good at driving home the true terror and strength of what is, without a doubt, my favorite race in all of 40k.

Check it out!

Garath Armstrong does an amazing job reading

I really enjoy the way the book is read. mr. Armstrong brings the characters to life and each book of the series has side characters that bring the issue to life it feels
