Great stories, rough narration

The stories were hard to keep up with as the author just rapid fired through the words with a monotone. A professional narrator would have made this a very good listening.

That being said all of the stories left me wanting more. I will definitely look for more from this author.

Short and sweet!

This was a great set of short stories, which were narrated very well. Doug gave a great unique voice to each character in each story not so easy done. I think I enjoyed Soor more than the others, their characters seemed to just evoke more emotion. Of course these stories are meant to make you think, they don't sometimes end the way you wanted or hoped, but this was a very refreshing change.

Thank you for the opportunity to listen in. I'll look for more by this author and narrator :)

Great varied collection of short sci fi stories.

This is a nice, fairly quick collection of sci fi short stories, covering a variety of people, places and topics, from a cadet on a training cruise having to deal with armed boarders, to aliens escaping a battle in a lifepod, but the aliens turn out to be different than expected. All in all, very creative and I could see some seeds for future stories coming out of this.
Doug Tisdale does a good job bringing the stories to life, covering a wide variety of genders and personalities, as well as species.

Pretty good stories

These are all good stories with a twist.
The narrator - as always - does an excellent job.
I was entertained - which is what I'm here for.

Good narration

Stories a little depressing for my taste but the narration was good which improved the overall story for me.

Great short stories

Each story was better than the one before. If you are a fan of sci-fi stories than you would probably enjoy this. If I had to name one thing wrong, I guess it would be that I did not quite like the person reading the book.
