Publisher's Summary

In the months following the Awakening, Christian's group of survivors grows, but they are still outnumbered by the hordes of zombies and scabs plaguing the world. With their security at risk, they must move to safer ground.
When Christian and Boomer get separated from the group, Christian is caught in a life or death struggle forcing him to reveal his immunity and hope he can trust the one person who knows his secret.
After Fish leads a daring rescue to save a group of specialists, they discover the origin of the virus and a plan is forged to get them to the Hoover Dam. New hope is on the horizon until a betrayal within the camp threatens not only Christian's life, but the lives of all humanity.
In book two of The Hunt Chronicles, Christian makes a revelation: He may be immune to the virus, but he is not immune to the monsters which dwell in all of us.

I need the rest of the series to be out soon!

If you’re a big Zombie fan I think you’re going to like this series and this story as a whole. Its FULL of zombie action and great writing which really connects you and makes you feel like you’re part of the action, so it might be best not to eat on a full stomach. The characters continue their story, along with a few new additions, and no one is safe (except Christian because he’s writing the story) and the body count, both dead and undead, piles up fast.

I really wanted to rate this higher, but there was one big issue I had. I like where the overall story is going but for most of this book I kept asking myself “where is THIS BOOK going?” For long stretches I felt like the book was just a story of a group of survivors and we would never find out how Christian ended up on the roof (we still don’t know) which frustrated me quite a bit. However, the final 20% of the book really wrapped up the current action nicely and set the stage for going forward and really got me interested to read the next in the series so take my rating with a grain of salt as cliffhangers/continuances are one of my pet peves. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for the next one!

Mr. Story does a good job with narration making the characters really come alive.

Revelations By J.D.Demers Jan 8th 2017

We found in book one, that the Scab’s were people that got bit but didn’t die, they were stronger and cunning. Zombies, would eat vegetation when no meat was available. they also didn't like the sun, they were more active at night. We also find that the zombies didn't like rain and the thunder confused them.
Book two picks up where one left off. The people of the ACE Hardwear plaza, were in the process of leaving and heading to Camp Holly.Lieutenant Campbell decided to separate Fish & Christian. Fish went with Big read and Campbell and Christian was teamed up with Chuck and his group.
Just one problem, Karina,(14 yr old girl whom was smart but never shut up. Nor did she follow directions well.) had gone back into the building. So Chuck and Christian, much to Christian's dismay was going after them. While the others in their group went on ahead.
Christian, hear the voice of reason more in this book and that voice was that of his father.
Little did the group know that there was a cunning trader in their midst. Thankfully Fish put it together in a nick of time to save Christian. This book was even better than the one before. J.D. Demers did an excellent job with it. He has a flare with details and descriptions. So many wonderful characters well developed. He had a perfect balance of endearing, annoying and character’s you wanted to die. So it was a suspenseful entertaining read. Mr. Demers is a new upcoming Author to watch. Well done Sir.
