A good space opera
At last the Aurora is on the way home to earth, fully stocked and almost a full crew. It is not a boring journey. There is experimentation with the jump drive and lots of excitement, action and suspense with a black hole. The reader keeps wondering are they going to get home?
The book is well written, the plot is well developed and new characters take a prominent role in this episode. There is lots of action and suspense and as with most sci-fi one must allow the imagination to run free. The ending is a cliff hanger.
Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job narrating the story. Kafer is a stage actor, voiceover artist and an award winning audiobook narrator.

Simply moves the story along....
While still great, Book 7 did not deliver as much excitement or plot development as previous novels. With an entire expanse to travel, I would have expected many more events and trouble on the crew's journey back to Earth. Worth a listen to keep abreast of events that will play out more in books 8 and 9.

Excellent listen. as good as the previous books
The story continues to unfold and surprisingly keeps getting better. Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. Not overly complicated with strange names. You don't have to guess what he is telling you in the story. Flows and keeps you wanting more.
Well done Ryk Brown, Keep up the excellent work
