His friends - Max, Lucy, and Henry - are impressed and want to join their friend on a journey to the island. Yet not everyone is happy: Steve's neighbor, Kyra, is upset because she wasn't chosen as a contestant.

Steve asks Kyra to come to the competition and help the gang build boats to get to Mushroom Island. She agrees, and the group sets out on an adventure to the contest. Getting there is half the fun, and the group treks through the jungle, where they find a rare temple filled with treasure! But getting the treasure isn't easy, and they have to fight fierce battles to continue their journey.

After their exhilarating and rewarding journey to the contest, they finally make their way onto the island and meet the judges as well as the other four contestants, whose egos are as big as the houses they are building. Steve builds his dream house to impress the judges, but just as they begin judging, the island is overrun with Endermen. Mushroom islands are known for not having hostile mobs, so everyone knows it's the work of a griefer. Is it one of the contestants? Nobody knows, but they all have to work together to battle this invasion of the Endermen.

I love these books

I like Minecraft and I like books so I like Minecraft books and audiobook’s . And I think that people that think that Winter Morgan’s Minecraft audiobook’s are bad then don’t be so harsh because I have seen some reviews and they are really really mean. I like Winter Morgan’s Minecraft audiobook’s a lot.

Why this narrator?

I love this story but why this narrator? He is so bad at voices. Hate the narrator. 😠

Great for kids, voice acting is hilarious

My five year old loves this book and it’s part of our daily fall asleep ritual. The narration is great with the exception of some of the voices for certain characters is so hilariously awful. The narrator gives one of the female characters this voice that is so shockingly bad you can’t help but love it.

Amazing adventure with Steve, Max, Lucy, and Henry I can’t wait to read the next book treasure hunters in trouble

I really liked that you can just dive on into the adventure because it so cool how they defeat the ender dragon like 5 times

How can they have like ten players? The max is five so must be local,

She liked it, mostly. But was disappointed

My daughter really liked most parts of the story but was very disappointed that Steve didn’t come in first place. The narrator, Luke Daniels, did a good job playing the different characters voices. My daughter did end up really liking Sarah, one of the new characters. Altogether this was a good story.
