Publisher's Summary

Lorna MacKenzie lost her mate nearly 30 years ago. Dedicating her life to her children, she brushed off the thought of ever finding love again. After all, Jamie MacKenzie had been her true mate. Who could ever replace him? Ross Anderson came to Lochguard to be near his daughter and fight his cancer. Over the last six months, he's become close to one particular dragonwoman. However, he doesn't want to pursue her as a dying man. But now that his cancer is gone, Ross is determined to win Lorna's heart. As the pair fight their growing attraction to one another, the only question is - will Lorna open up to Ross, or forever hold on to the memory of her first love?

Lorna got her groove back!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Ross and Lorna's dragon. I thought that each character was wonderful. I loved how Lorna's dragon new that she was thinking just because she is older means that she does not need love a good male. I also felt that Lorna's dragon wanted to see her more then 'Aunt Lorna', grandma, and the one that holds the clan together.

Ross on the other hand knew Lorna was going to be his future but he did not want to make her suffer if things did not turn in his favor. I admire all that he has gone through and still realize that there is a lot more living that he can do and Lorna is the one that he wants to do it with.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scene where Faye asked Lorna and Ross if she could be the one to tell Fraser that their mother and Ross have finally became an item. Just like a little sister to be the one to annoy her big brother to no end.

Never too old.

Jessie Donovan has the knack of creating characters, shifter or human, that are easy to love and impossible to forget. And, once again Matthew Lloyd Davies has done an excellent job of narration. In Dragon's Heart, she has given an older couple, retirement age even, a chance at a new life and love. Both Ross and Lorna have lost their first love and mate/spouse, but now after Ross has a new life recovering from cancer he wants to live that life to the fullest. Lorna was his nurse, friend and now has captured his heart. The questions are can he get her to accept him if so get her children let him live, and win her from any dragon men as a mere human.

They are so feisty and much more romantic than their kids are ready for. Seeing mum kiss a man is just not in their realm of experience. Are their feelings for real, forever? Will the clan accept them? There is a law prohibiting matings between human males and dragon females?

This one will touch your heart and your funny bone. For the younger reader, just remember they may be old, but they certainly aren't dead, as you will read. I heartily recommend this one.
