Great fantasy book, but not very well narrated

Read at an awkward pace with fits and starts for breathing like he's trying to rush it. The story itself is amazing if you can get past the narration!

Generic

Nothing distinguishes this book from a thousand other coming of age stories except the remarkable creepiness of a supposedly 13 year old protagonist going on about how young and tight his crush's body is.
