Publisher's summary

When Timothy finally found work as a tester for a popular online MMORPG, his lifelong dream was fulfilled. And now, he earns money (and pretty good money, at that) just for doing what he loves - playing a beautiful and realistic computer game. But he isn't some typical run-of-the-mill player, like the millions of others. Timothy is truly capable and talented, and stands out from the crowd. In fact, the faceless masses consider him far too lucky and successful. Many players dislike him for his achievements and hunt him down ruthlessly just because they feel envious or because he looks different. So, what is he to do now that the whole world is against him and his only allies are his beloved sister and a few trusted friends? Make peace? Sink down to their level? Or just fly ever higher on the wings of success? It's all up to Timothy!

short book

I found the story unique and interesting and look forward to seeing the next installment of this series. I would have given five stars but the author made the main Male character to girly his sister is on deaths door and amarah is having an emotional issue just one of many time he has shown himself to be emasculated by his kid sister

better than the first

This book and performance was amazing. So many emotions and expressions conveyed through out it. I couldnt help but laugh, cry, cringe and slack jaw my way throughout the book. I am already downloading the next book great job!

My only critique would be some spots of Amran being out of character: The battle with the guild and the distinct lack of collecting of blood. A few other spots along the way. But still phenomenal performance and story.

Great balance!

I didn't write a review on the first book due to sheer lack of time because I just had to start the second one right away!!! This story has dramatic ups and downs in all the right places, making me nauseous from treachery as well as fluttery inside when Amra and his cohorts make it by the skin of thier teeth once again. I highly recommend this to anyone who is just starting with litrpg and those who have dedicated most of thier library to this genre...(myself included)

Fantastic

I’ve read many books involving characters entering games in one way or another. This is, possibly, my favorite. I listened to this directly following the first in the series and couldn’t have been more satisfied and I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

An Excellent Continuation of the Saga

I enjoyed this book just as much as the first in the series. Our little goblin with the big ears continues his adventures, and there are some fascinating twists and turns in the plot. Its also builds on the back-story here in RL.

That being said, it felt to me as though the story was beginning to reach the natural limits of the concept by the end of the book. There are obviously mysteries that have been set up for the next book in the series, but to my mind the author was getting into more and more unrealistic scenarios to keep things going. I was completely ready for the story to end when it did.

Overall well worth the read, and it is once again excellently narrated.

Story continues to build as the tension rises

Book 2 of the Dark Herbalist saga starts off where the previous book left off and is recommended in reading first. The Author learned form his mistakes in the first book and proceeded to keep the tension alive and real throughout the book. Under constant threat, the entire online world is after him and groups of enemies around every corner. Definitely a good read for those of you who enjoy the Fantasy RPG genre.
