Unique plot line and great read

I've already ordered book 2 - Audible will hopefully get it soon also. Get past the first few chapters and hang on for a wild ride!!! Toward the end I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

Confusing....

There have not been many books I couldn't finish, but this is one. The first 6 chapters were fighting a war we knew nothing about, had no investment in the cause, and no idea what that cause was. I have made it over a quarter of the way thru part 2 and I still have no idea what the war is about. The character names are so foreign and similar that I can't keep up with the characters. The narrator is very good. He's the only reason I stuck it out this far. But I just have to give up. I'm used to books with a lot of different characters, like WOT. But this one, I just don't understand 'who's on first and what's on second'!
