Listen for The Simbul

This book doesn't do much to separate the personalities of the sisters, except for a few very distinct individuals.
The mystery within the story is intriguing, but is resolution leaves a lot to be desired, the internal logic and motivations of the villains quite vague and headscratching.
Things are also not helped by the fact that the narrator does little to try and keep the sisters' voices unique (with a few exceptions), and that all other characters are voiced passably at best.

However, this is all worth it for the wondrous experience of the penultimate chapter. Simply its first line is enough to show how much fun it is: "
The Simbul; Wizard Hunting Season"

This chapter is nearly two hours of pure badassery, gloriously enhanced by a great performance of T
he Simbul herself by the narrator.
Experiencing this chapter of pure joy is reason enough in itself to listen to this book.
