I really liked the backstory of Vann Therrik!

What a complicated character. The depth of emotion is profound even if we only get a glimpse of his emotions in the daily interactions as commander of the outpost!
The professor’s distaste for her cousin’s flamboyant demeanor is very amusing!

This series as awesome! I have enjoyed the pace, holding my attention. It was hard to stop listening. 💓

Finally on audio!

I'm so excited that that this title finally made it to audio! Buroker's Dragon Blood series just isn't complete without the story of Colonel Therrick's redemption. I loved the entire series in print, and I think Caitlin Davies does a terrific job of the narration.

Lindsay Buroker has some of the best .5 books. Honestly this adds a great deal to the overall series and if I were a publisher, I would have insisted that it retain a regular number in the series. Great narration as well.

Many thing explained!

I couldn't wait to see how it ended. I listened every chance that I had. The author keeps drawing the reader in and the narrator is a pleasure to listen to.

Love the fleshing out of a supportive character

Very enjoyable listen and well written in that at the end there are so many interesting questions left but not in the way that makes you made but makes you intrigued. I recommend it.
