Editorial Reviews

With crisp phrasing, each sentence resonant of the tension overriding every moment of every day in the novel, Bernard Cetaro Clark dramatizes Scott Baker’s supernatural fantasy that brings together an uneasy alliance of a relative few humans and vampires trying to survive and counter hordes of the reanimated, zombie dead. From their safe-haven in a shipyard in post-apocalyptic Maine, a reconnaissance squad are forced to take a 500-mile trip through an undead hell to where the antidote to the Revenant Virus is hidden, or so they have been told.

Publisher's Summary

Eight months ago vampires released the Revenant Virus on humanity. Both species were nearly wiped out. For Mike Robson, the situation could be far worse. He’s joined up with a small band of humans and the last coven of vampires who are riding out the zombie apocalypse in an old fort along the coast of southern Maine.
The group’s uneasy alliance is strained by the arrival of the creator of the Revenant Virus. He claims there is a vaccine that will make them immune to the virus, but it’s located in a secure underground facility 500 miles away. To retrieve the vaccine, Robson leads a raiding party of humans and vampires down the devastated East Coast. Yet none of the horrors Robson has faced match what awaits in the underground facility.

Critic Reviews

"With Rotter World, Scott M. Baker pulls out all the stops in a zombie thriller that is brutal, violent, and terrifying. Definitely not for the faint-hearted." (Jonathan Maberry, New York Times best-selling author of Patient Zero and Dead of Night)

Horrible! Save your credit!

Would you try another book from Scott Baker and/or Bernard Cetaro Clark?

NO! The book is like a B rated SCI-FI Walking Dead except this book has vampires. The whole set up is nothing sets of to find a cure gets to the destination then the book ends. I mean literally ends in the middle of the book. I thought I might have missed downloading a second part to this book but NOOOOOO! The book just ends in the middle of the story. I stared at my iPhone for the longest time trying to grasp what has just happened and the stupidity behind it. This is truly a WTF moment!!!

Has Rotter World turned you off from other books in this genre?

No! Have to take the good with the bad! THIS WAS BAD!

Did Bernard Cetaro Clark do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

NO! Character development was not the author's strong suit anyway.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Rotter World?

Would not have published book PERIOD!
