Publisher's Summary

The mysterious, indomitable warrior? Ruthless criminal overlord? The Riel'gesh - mythical demigod? Dedicated friend and protector?
Equipped with skills far beyond those of the outworlders, Rezkin has been suddenly thrust into a foreign world. The young warrior clings to his only known purpose as he continues his search for any information about his identity and the reason for his existence.
While the hardened warrior scorns both dueling and tournaments, he believes some of the answers he seeks may be found at the King's Tournament, the greatest dueling championship in all of the kingdoms. As he searches for the elusive Striker Farson, who may be the only person alive who holds the clues, the young warrior and his friends embark on a journey fraught with danger, mystery, and intrigue.
Amid fears of the kingdom's economic collapse, rumors of an eminent military draft, and the machinations of a mad, tyrannical king, a new revelation threatens to upend all the warrior's plans.

Oh, very WELL DONE!

If you could sum up Reign of Madness in three words, what would they be?

Only need two: VERY SATISFIED

Who was your favorite character and why?

I stated in my review of the first book in this series that the main was my favorite because the other characters didn't have much to them. I am very happy to see that the author has had his cast of character grow! I thoroughly enjoyed the maturing of these characters, all of them.

What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narration of this book was done very professionally. Nick Podehl brings much to this medium. Each medium has its pluses and minuses and I don't like to say one is better than another.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yup and did! I don't regret that in the slightest.

Any additional comments?

It is painful to leave the immersion of this story and I will be checking a lot for the next in the series! BRAVA Kel Kade! Keep going!

Worth every cent

First let me start with for you masochist who like your characters to suck and get beat up and fail the whole book this book is not for you.
Who in there right mind wants to read about a loser I'll tell you everything one who gave this book 1 star. They all complain about one thing the the main character is too good. How bout i write a one page book that you will love. Jim sucks. Jim get stabbed. Jim lives to suck again. The end. Hope you enjoyed. I read books like that and i guess i feel how you feel about this one cause those books had almost full stars too. But seriously why do you want you characters to suck.

Not liking this book is like saying that You don't like Batman. Let face it Rezkin is Batman if Batman were not insane and got stuff done. Instead of just locking up murders who he knows will brake out and Kill again over and over which is one of the definitions of insanity.

The story is amazing and it doesn't at least for me get annoying like most books do when one character has a secret but never tells anyone. I guess that because he slowly be surely lets people in to his confidence. My favorite part is that he does not forget rule #1 and no it's not to protect your friends. It's to at all times remain a BADASS.

Masterfully job Kel Kade I make you up there with my favorites Orson Scott Card, Brandon Sanderson and John Conroe.
