Publisher's Summary

Survival had become a way of life since Co-opComm first launched VADER. Thirteen years had passed, and yet Abby remained.... She and the others prevailed where many had surrendered. And died.
Abby is tired. Tired of running and hiding. Tired of struggling, tired of fighting. Ultratron has a new secret weapon - a better, improved version. And the government-sponsored company has a new target, a more heinous plan.
Traveling to Chicago, the heart of the current regime, they come face to face with a new threat - or is it? Who is this mysterious Riley, and what does she know about the St. Louis compound? And how? Shadowy inhabitants arise from the depths of the city, but are they friend...or foe?
But Abby has only one objective: to defeat the government. Regardless of the cost.

Couldn't put it down! It might happen to us!

Would you consider the audio edition of Recycled to be better than the print version?

Yes. It makes you feel like you are really there, and you find yourself rooting for the character's.

What other book might you compare Recycled to and why?

Walking of the Dead without the zombies.

What does Don Hoeksema bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Loved this story.....and expertly narrated. The story captures your attention from the start and you are compelled to keep reading. He does a great job bringing the character's to life.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Beware!

Any additional comments?

This is like a PG zombie book, without the zombies. A really nice story, but not too nice, that you could play without embarrassment, with any of your friends or family around. This is what would happen if cults were aloud to rule. What would you do, conform for your safety or fight? Internal questions, you will find yourself asking.
