Publisher's Summary

Welcome to the fourth installment of the Scrapyard Ship series, Realms of Time. Captain Jason Reynolds and his team are up against a new, and unexpected foe-an adversarial force that has every intention of aligning with the powerful and dreaded Craing Empire.
The enemy strikes from Earth's high orbit, deploying five time-shifting spheres. The spheres are strategically positioned to link-up and set Earth's clock back 100 years into the past. But when that course of action is interrupted by The Lilly's crew, the results become far worse. Fluctuating time realms rapidly spread across the globe and threaten to rip the planet apart. Join Jason, Billy, Traveler, Ricket and Dira on their mission as they literally travel to the ends of time to bring Earth back to the twenty-first century.

What did you love best about Realms of Time?

This is a leading question. You're assuming I love something in Realms of Time. You're right-I did. I loved just about everything in the book. There's stalwart warriors ready to sacrifice their lives; a gallant Captain who is a great leader but a jinx in the Romance department; enough fusty military to require paperwork to document their greed; unusual pets; and Dinosaurs!! Mean, flesh eating monstrosities that try to stop the crew from executing the only option left to them to save Mother Earth and their loved ones. This book has enough fast moving action to satisfy anyone, even a junkie like me. Did I mention that the characters are continuing to develop? This book is too good to set down!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Every last one of the characters were my favorites: some when they were blasted to atoms, others when they did the right thing. I loved McInnes' ability to ignore the box. It's too bad some of his critics couldn't do the same!.

Have you listened to any of L.J. Ganser’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

L. J. Is doing a bang up job making us, the listeners, feel like we're at center stage thru out the book. Because I'm enjoying this book so much, I think I'm making Ganser very fluid and expressive. No, I honestly think he is.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! This one and the others in the series. And yes, I did, night and day!

Any additional comments?

I love the cliff hanger endings! I never felt cheated or shorted because of the abrupt stops. I just moved to the next book and picked up exactly where the previous had ended. I am so glad I looked at the series page so I wouldn't have any lapses IF I liked the first books! I might have felt like some of Gasner's other critics with " halves" of books... And I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut hole that we will see another series. Gasner's just trying to figure out what to do with a pregnant Dira (Captain doesn't know) since ex wife, Nan, has delivered a son! That's not a spoiler that's a cliff hanger!
