Please keep in mind that my rating leans heavily on the historical significance of this work. I was entertained throughout and glad I purchased this dramatized version. The story may seem old now and very familiar, but that is because this was so good, it was copied in different forms over and over. This is suppose to be were the word robot was invented.

I was a little surprised in the robots themselves. I was expecting mechanical inventions, but it seems they were produced in test tubes. They are synthetic not mechanical. I now know why in other books they often say mechanical robots, instead of just saying robots.

If you want to be up on your science fiction history, this is a must read.
