Wonderful
This is such a terrific series. Great timing between each of the cataclysmic situations Owl finds herself in. The only thing I was uncomfortable with was the cat Captain's fate left hanging. I hope there is not too much time between this and the next novel's release.

A great follow up to book one
Even more action, a curse, mummies, vampires, a siren, more incubi... And of course, burial chambers, artefacts & the vampire-attacking cat! Also, an awesome narrator. This one has it all. Supernatural meets Indiana Jones!

Not finished, but disappointed
OK--I loved the first book in this series which I eye-read, but I've been pulled right out of this story with the narration--Caracalla (who died in Turkey, by the way, instead of Egypt), I could forgive, but "calliope?"
