Publisher's Summary

In January 2009, the Michaluk Virus escaped from the Centers for Disease Control and decimated the major city centers of the Southeast. These are the stories of how it all began.
The Becoming: Origins
Brandt Evans's life is spiraling out of control. Depressed at the way his life is heading and desperate to help his sister pay for school, he accepts an offer from Dr. Derek Rivers that might result in either a large payday - or his death. Instead, it is the beginning of the end of the world.
The Becoming: Brothers in Arms
Theo and Gray Carter find themselves surrounded by chaos, death and misery on all sides. As their worlds collapse around them, both are forced to do the unimaginable - both to ensure their survival and protect each other from the cannibalistic infected. Weaponless and alone, the two brothers quickly learn that the only thing they can count on is each other.
The Becoming: Deliverance
Remy Angellette is running with the wrong crowd and her life is spiraling out of control. After getting arrested for shoplifting, she finds herself stuck in a holding cell at the New Orleans Police Department when the first waves of mayhem begin to wash over the city. Now, she must rely on NOPD patrolman Marc DuBois to get her out of the city and reunite her with her family - before the infected get to them first.

Gay zombie book...

I should have known better to buy a zombie book written by a woman, i know that sounds sexist but really a good zombie book is about guns and guts with suspense and a scare factor or at least alot of action, this writer apparently know very little about any of those subjects and instead want to write a story about a gay guy couple trying to get out of the city with there wooden sticks, pathetic... Buy a larry corriea book or mark tofu and you will be much better off, one good note though is she chose a good voice to read the book, sorry if that offends you but im tired of everything having to be made about gay people now, just my opinion
