Publisher's Summary

'I didn't realize he was a werewolf at first. My nose isn't at its best when surrounded by axle grease and burnt oil....'
Mercedes Thompson runs a garage in the Tri-Cities. She's a mechanic, and a damn good one, who spends her spare time karate training and tinkering with a VW bus that happens to belong to a vampire. Her next-door neighbour is an alpha werewolf - literally, the leader of the pack. And Mercy herself is a shapeshifter, sister to coyotes. As such, she's tolerated by the 'wolves but definitely down the pecking order. As long as she keeps her eyes down and remembers her place, the pack will leave her in peace.

I love this book!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It's on of my all-time favourite authors!

What other book might you compare Moon Called to and why?

Sandy Williams "The shadow reader". Both are great stories, intriguing characters, good dialog, a mix between action and romance.

Which character – as performed by Lorelei King – was your favorite?

Mercy!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just that I kind of fell in love with Adam a little bit...

Any additional comments?

Read it!!

Brilliant story but narrator was confusing

Loved this as a book but the narrator confused me. All sterotypes and little difference between certain character voices.

Very enjoyable book very well narrated

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes - it has a good story, the principle character is very likeable and the narration is excellent

What other book might you compare Moon Called to, and why?

Its in the same lines as the Sookie Stackhouse ( but without the sex) and Jane Yellowrock ( our heroine is also a shifter ) stories. It is set in our world but where Vampires and Werewolves and other Fey characters are very active. There are some subtle differences and the Werewolves have a bigger role than Vampires in this book - bit of a hint in the title there. If you like the Stackhouse/Yellowrock books you will probably like this

Have you listened to any of Lorelei King’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Not yet but I will and hope she is as good in those

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me laugh in a few places

Any additional comments?

Enjoyed it and will be downloading the next book in the series soon

Fantastic, believable, fast paced

I have read this book a number of times before but am just experimenting with Audible. What a fantastic experience. listened to it in one sitting and just could not stop. The narrator managed to distinguish between the voices of everyone so well it was a pleasure to listen to.

My first Briggs book

This was the first Patricia Briggs book I had encountered and now I am definitely keen to read more. She gives her characters great depth and detail, and I enjoyed the combination of action & mythology.... With a touch of romance/sexiness.

The performance in this audio book was good. Easy to listen to.
