To put it bluntly I was shocked with the most guilty pleasures with how the in your face writing reeled me into a book that I feel many listeners would be wary of if they don't relax and give it a chance. The characters go places I don't imagine and grow in ways I would not have chosen and that is the best and most fun thing about it. An author that is not only not predictable but also still satisfying in his decisions and has me wondering how happiness can be pulled off and still believed is a treat. My one complaint? The narrator gives the main character a totally different voice from how he voiced him in the first two books and it really grated on my nerves. While it the character, I wished he went back to not trying and using his own voice for the guy.
Listening to this narrator is like being fired at by a shotgun, every word is punched out with no expression. It grates so badly.
The story makes very little sense and i found it so tedious that I couldn't finish it. It's gotta go!
Hard to keep up with the story, too complicated and badly explained. Tried and tried but gave up. I got about 6 or 7 hours into and I still don’t really understand what it is about
