Publisher's Summary

Discover the fate of the original black Magician, Pug, and his crew of agents who safeguard the world of Trigia, as prophecy becomes truth in the last book of the last-ever Midkemian trilogy, the final volume in the epic Riftwar Cycle.
The dragons are calling.… Civil war is tearing apart the Kingdom of the Isles, for the throne lies empty and rivals are converging. Having spirited his beloved Princess Stephané safely out of Roldem, Hal - now Duke of Crydee - must turn his attention to the defence of the ancient realm so that a king can be anointed by the Congress of Lords, rather than by right of might. But the greatest threat may well lie out of the hands of men.
Somewhere in the Grey Towers Mountains something not of this world is emerging. It will require that alliances be made between mortal enemies if disaster is to be averted. Elves and men must stand together, ancient heroes must rise again, dragons must fly and Pug, Magnus and the other magic-users of Midkemia must be prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice if the whole world is to be saved.

A really good story and performance.

Out of 10:
Creativity: 10 - amazing.
Presenter: 9 - very good.
Life Application: 7 - some great concepts & life lessons.
Violence: 7 - graphic combat.
Morals: 7 - very good on the good bits but pretends that casual sex, etc, don't have negative consequences. A little gender confusion suggested.
Writing Style: 7 - moves along well.

Peter Joyce is incredible

Highly recommend skipping the book before this one (not read by Peter Joyce). Peter Joyce is a phenomenal narrating talent, giving hundreds of voices to different characters and doing justice to a great story.

The greatest 4 months of my life

Over the last 4 months i have listened to Peter Joyce reveal the worlds and lifetimes created by Raymond E. Feist in the series called magician.

I have been moved my mind is always thinking of the lifes that were portrayed in the series i miss characters i wish i could hear them again. I wish i could hear Jimmy the hand fall in love or feel the power Eric vondarkmor had, cry when willam and gamina gave there lives for what they loved. This series is long but its more then just a series of books, it is centuries of life every detail every void, every desert path, every castle, every being.

i will recommend this journey to everyone

Thank you Raymond E. feist and Peter joyce you have given me something to love more then i ever thought.
