Enjoyable. Memorable. Ready for the Sequel!
Would you listen to Lords of Night again? Why?
The characters are distinctive, constantly giving each other a hard time, and realistically portrayed. The Ranger is intriguing. He catches flack for being loony (he actually wears a mask and thinks the military hospital's mental ward was a hoot), but in the end, no one doubts his skill.
What did you like best about this story?
Brannan is unpredictable. I thought I was getting a typical zombie apocalypse story, but there are so many surprising and creative aspects to this novel I was blown away.
Have you listened to any of Jonah Cummings’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first listen to Jonah Cummings. I thought he did a fine job. All the characters are uniquely voiced.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The end choked me up, especially the part about the chain of glow sticks.
Any additional comments?
I look forward to book two.
