Short and sweet!

Any additional comments?

This is a fun short story, but be aware that it is an extract from one of the other books, not a new story.
Also be aware that while some of these 'shorts' are an hour or more long, others are rather less than that.
Very enjoyable listen anyway!

Catching Up

I read the 1st book months ago and the prequel’s being offered free is a huge bonus. I don’t usually go for Vampires or zombies but I liked Junkyard Cats so much that I had to try more of Faith Hunter’s books. I do wish she would finish Shining Smith’s story.

The writer and the narrator are so perfectly in tune. Every character is identifiable, she does masculine voices very well, and Beast is wonderfully portrayed. Looking forward to the next novel.

I loved it!

I loved it!

This was such a surprise. I found these books and thought they were just more stories about Jane in New Orleans. I had no idea what a treasure trove I had found and what I was in for. I was so happy at the end of my first book to find that these were stories of Jane’s history and how some of her backstories played out that are just referenced throughout the series. I also enjoyed hearing the stories from Molly’s perspective. It was money and time well spent.

loved loved loved it.

It held me up there, I listened, and I loved it. It's way way too short, but I guess, that's what short stories are (short).

love it,Faith Hunter is a really creative author..

...Faith Hunter really is a creative author and if I had time to sit and read her books my imagination would take flight with just what she has written.
Khristine Hvam doing the narrative for the book really helps bring it to life on a whole new level, since currently I don't have time to read books (so I purchase both the books and audio when avaliable). Khristine brings it to life in a way that helps my imagination take flight and run along with the narrative so well that if I have had to pause it for a call, conversation, or whatever, then my mind sometimes really thinks I paused a TV show (Even if I'm in a room that doesn't have any TV, lol). My mind is able to visually bring alive what is being narrated. I hope that I am able to have the same experiences when I read the books myself at a later date for enjoyment.

Angie baby comes into her powers

What made the experience of listening to Kits the most enjoyable?

Beasts saves Angie Baby by crawling into the baby's bed and damping her early magic.

What other book might you compare Kits to and why?

Besides the others in this series. I would also recommend the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. Who has a Indian that changes to a coyote but is very protective of the weak.

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

This is a great performance by this professional.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jane pulls up to the trailer after she turns back to human and Molly accepts her as a friend.

Any additional comments?

Great for you to know what the bases of Molly and Jane's friendship.
