Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Deanna Chase.
Newlyweds Jade Calhoun and Kane Rouquette have barely said "I do" when there's a disturbance in the shadow world that's draining the energy of angels. As shadow walkers, Jade and Kane are pressed into service, tasked with the impossible mission of solving the mystery before any angels are lost - until Kane's accused of poisoning the shadows with his incubus energy and his power is stripped.
Life goes from bad to worse when a lesser Goddess shows up, hell-bent on stealing the spirits of mortals in pursuit of a fountain of youth. Now it's up to Jade and her coven to keep their friends safe, clear Kane's name, and fix the shadows before one of them is lost forever.

Jade Calhoun Series Book 6

This is my first book in this series. There are a lot of things going on in the story. I found it a bit hard to follow.

In this book you will find Demons, witches, goddesses, ghosts, souls, and Angels. There is a lot to keep up with.

The story felt like it was jumping around and there were a lot of characters to follow. For some reason it was a bit hard for me to stay focused.

The narrator did a pretty good job.

There is a disturbance in the shadows and Jade & Kane are sent to investigate. Energy is being drained from Angels. Kane's energy seems to be found in the shadows and is polluting it. They strip his powers and start investigating what is going on the shadows.

Good Book

Would you consider the audio edition of Incubus of Bourbon Street to be better than the print version?

This book may have been better in print version because this is typically not the kind of book I'd pick to listen to. I did enjoy the story. I first read the first book in this series years ago and thought why not, since I'd enjoyed this first book, but it was a little too much for me.
