Tiffany undertakes numerous tasks in her own quiet and efficient way while facing an unseen enemy. New friends and old favorites are to be found in this intriguing and delightful story.
Yes, perhaps needed for Tiffany's development as a character, but I hope she soon gets a sense of humour. She is soooo serious. Luckily there are other characters who lighten it up a bit. Love the new boyfriend.
I've always loved the Discworld books and this one is no diffrent. The characters are as engaging, funny and, in some cases, mad as ever and the story is one you can really get into. It?s great to see how much Tiffany has grown since the fist time we met her (frying pan in hand) but how she is still very much the same person she?s always been.

having read many terry pratchett books, i was unsure about an audible version. the story would never be a problem, the narration could ruin it. but mr briggs is brilliant he brings the story alive you could almost see the wee free men. once i started listening i did,nt want to stop. a great listen

What did you like most about I Shall Wear Midnight?
Love this series, love the discworld and the philosophy behind the stories.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Who couldn't love the Nac Mac Feegle.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Somehow i just have the hardest time with the audio as its a book about a wee lass and its read by a not wee man sigh this for me was a disapointment as I love Stephen Briggs reading Terry, he is so amazing at it, he's just no Tiffany Aching sigh, and its so hard to write such a negative thing about this book, this series, this narrator.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
If these books (yes these cause if you can read only one and leave them there you wouldn't be reading this review anyway) don't make you at least smirk in a knowing way Terry Pratchett isn't for you.
