Publisher's summary

Ewzad Vriil's keep has fallen and Justan has been reunited with his friends. But the kingdom remains in turmoil. The mother of the moonrats still builds the Dark Prophet's army of monsters in the mountains, and the Battle Academy forces are weakened.

Justan's bonds with Fist and Gwyrtha have made him stronger and faster, but the more he learns about his powers, the more questions he has. He seeks out the bonding wizard Master Coal, hoping that the man can teach him what he needs to know about his magic before he hurts his bonded and himself.

Deathclaw has freed Talon from Ewzad Vriil's power, only to find that she is no longer the sister he used to know. Meanwhile, a new creature is born: a beast designed to hunt dragons. Will they survive the Hunt of the Bandham?

Hunt of the Bandham is the third book in the Bowl of Souls series.

New Narrator, Same Great Story

Having grown accustomed to the previous narrators voicing of the characters, I wasn't sure how I would like the switch even though I love Andrew Tell's previous narration of Noose Jumpers.

However, Andrew did an amazing job of voicing the characters with the same nuances that the previous narrator did!

As the story unfolds, I find myself further immersed in the world. The characters, especially Justan, continue to learn and grow through everything they go through, and their bonds get stronger. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one!

Good Series

Would you listen to Hunt of the Bandham again? Why?

Yes I like to go back and listen to all of a story from the beginning.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like Squirrel and Fist as well as all the other characters.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the first narrator more than Andrew Tell to be honest ( it's always a little jarring going from on interpretation to another) I find he mispronounces some words and it throws me out of the story. Otherwise I do really enjoy the story and he does a passable job.

Bring back James Foster

What didn’t you like about Andrew Tell’s performance?

This series now feels like a child's book...the voices and story just feel over told and for children

A truly captivating story

This is the third book I have listened too. All three of Mr. Cooley's books have been amazing to listen to. The reader brings all characters alive. I am just mesmerized and look forward with great eagerness to the next book. I can not recommend these books highly enough. I have never really been interested in fantasy type stories in the past however The Bowl of Souls has hooked me and I will follow until the end. Thank you Mr. Cooley for pursuing your dreams.
