Publisher's summary

An original novella set in the Halo Universe and based on the New York Times best-selling video game series!

Find. Claim. Profit.

In a postwar galaxy littered with scrap, it's the salvager's motto. And with a fast ship and a lust for adventure, Rion Forge has certainly made her mark on the trade. When the discovery of a wrecked UNSC cruiser brings Rion's past back to haunt her, stirring fresh hope into a decades-old wound, she's hell-bent on finding answers: What really happened to her father and his ship, the Spirit of Fire? This novella also contains the complete text of Kelly Gay's short story "Into the Fire", originally featured in the collection Halo: Fractures.

The story doesn't finish, loose ends are not tied together. I wish is was longer

I like the range the book has in bringing the viewer into their personal lives without dragging on.

Scott Brick needs to be done.

The story was good. Not sure it was worth a whole credit though.

Scott Brick is honestly the worst. He’s too whiny and monotoned.

Emotional

It's a very good story that fills in some gaps of the Halo universe. Really sad at some points. Overall, it's a very compelling story.

It's okay.

Honsetly I barely paid attention to this book. It is well written and all and hey I love the Halo world but I found this book boring. It only got interesting right there at the end for me. I recommend a read once through but I probably will not read it again unlike the kilo five series.
