Publisher's Summary

Hanna Donnelly is the station captain's pampered daughter, and Nik Malikov is the reluctant member of a notorious crime family.
Together they struggle with the realities of life aboard the galaxy's most boring space station, blissfully unaware that Kady Grant and the Hypatia are headed right toward Heimdall with news of the Kerenza invasion.

This was beautiful.
Honestly, this makes me want to enjoy more sci-fi!
The narration was life-like and entertaining, my only issue being the censorship of the swearing.
The entire storyline of this novel was compelling and well-executed, each character being truly a treat to listen to.
My biggest struggle was the last arc involving the wormholes and multiverse. It bothered me immensely because it felt forced and came from nowhere, bringing issues that I felt were just for shock-factor and to open to a third book. The fact the Lanima infestation was barely resolved was my main annoyance with that arc. It felt as if the authors just went "Okay! Let's forget the boring yet pressing aliens and go onto space-time and alternate dimensions!"
Would have enjoyed it much more if the aliens were better resolved rather than just giving a one liner.
Even though I felt that way about the last arc, I do generally feel as if it was executed correctly for the point of a third book, despite being borderline pointless without needing a third.
Enjoyed all aspects of the romance, the comedy, and the action, though the world building in this book was much worse than the first (which had excellent world building).

Overall, amazing listen! Can't wait for Obsidia!
