Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
If was interesting and fun.
What other book might you compare Galactic Vice to and why?
What does Andrew B. Wehrlen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He brings out some of the characters far better then just reading a book.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Jake Bible serves up another dose of Galactic bedlam in this latest offering.
Jafla Base is rife with crime, prostitution, gambling and the Orb games. In this tale we follow the exploits of Galactic Vice Lieutenant Angie McDade as she navigates the crime syndicates and corruption within her own division.
Along the way we encounter some familiar faces from the Roak adventures and an abundance of new and continually believable characters.
The action, twists, and turns are a steady feast and Andrew Wehrlen draws us along at a fair clip with his ability to separate the individuals through his narration and maintain the right pace.
My thanks to the author/narrator for providing me a copy of this book, free of charge, in return for an unbiased review.

I have not read/listened to anything by this author but I liked the description so I thougt I will give it ago.
The narrator I liked, he voiced the characters out and gave them their own personality.
The story on the other hand I have mixed feeling about. I found it slow going at times and the aliens acted too humanoid. They got depressed, drank, used bad language, had a police force that acted like cops we see in movies, etc.
I would have liked more differences between us and them. This was unfortunate because as I was listening to the audiobook, I imagined the characters to be human then alien, except for one/two due to the way they acted.
This book has some moderate violence and profanity.
Great read although not as good as some of his other works such as Roarke , same universe but quite a few good bits of character involvement and world building.
Do wish JB would get out of the "said" usuage as this comes across more prominently so in the audio as opposed to the ebook.
This does work better as an audio however so excellent narration from ABW as per normal.
This is the first of the new series so i will keep my eyes and ears peeled before giving my final judgement but there is potential here.
This is my own opinion as i picked this up as a freebie by my own decision.
