Publisher's Summary

Neven stares at the portal as his mind races, the sight truly impressive. He is reminded of the fact that, just a few months ago, his biggest fears were not becoming a Feshra and living a life of normalcy. Now he stands staring at a Cihphistic portal that will take him to another world, where a being of immense power intends to kill him and all life in the Twin Galaxies. The young Secnic almost laughs at the irony of it all.
Neven Kenk is a brilliant engineer, the 29-year-old human having accomplished more in his short life than any of his peers at the illustrious Ministry of Science. When a high-profile combat team known as the Founder's Elite lose their Chief Engineer, their immortal leader comes searching for a replacement at the MinSci. Introduced by one of the Founders of the Huzien Empire, Neven finds himself unable to turn down their offer, his dreams of becoming a legend the only thing on his mind as he dons power armor and takes on the mantle of a Secnic.

Everything a great book needs.

What did you like?
I am a sci-fi fan so this book was good for me. It is different from other books because it combines details you don't find in your typical sci-fi. Also the different worlds and beings are very detailed to give you an exact picture in your head of the settings and characters.
Whom would you recommend this book to?
People that like sci-fi books that wouldn't mind extra detail of romance and character development.
I almost forgot. The reader/performer is great. Her performance really surprised me with sound effects for the telepathic talk. Well done. I will be looking for more books read/performed by Melissa Reizan Frank.
