Publisher's summary

Brandee has been dumped in every way possible, but by text is the last straw. That's it - she's officially done with men. Unfortunately, she's just been told her "soul mate" is the drool-worthy hottie all her friends call One-Night Nick. Nick has been searching for true love for 100 years. After all, werewolves mate for life, and he does not want to mess this up. As soon as he kisses Brandee, he knows she's the one. But how will he convince a woman who knows nothing of paranormals that she's about to be bound to a werewolf forever?

Critic reviews

"Hot sex scenes and a breezy tone with a nice, happily-ever-after ending makes Chase's story - with its interesting cast of humans, werewolves, shape-shifters, witches, wizards, and vampires - a fun listen." ( Booklist)

Not that bad

Would you consider the audio edition of Flirting Under a Full Moon to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Personally, I wouldn't have changed the story. I found it to be quirky.

Which character – as performed by Leah Mallach – was your favorite?

Mother Nature.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next.

Any additional comments?

After reading the reviews for this book, I decided to write my first review. While it wasn't the typical type of book I listen too. I found it quiet enjoyable and comical to listen to.

So cute!

It's a nice little paranormal romance. There is a bar called Boston Uncomon where vampires, werewolves, shifters...etc can hang out and mingle. They don't usually hang out so it's a nice place.

Brandy is a human who works there, and Nick is a werewolf. This is their story and it's funny and sweet and a tad hot. Overall it was wonderful and I'm downloading the next one right away!

Narrator was okay but some voices sounded like other voices and some were over the top.

Overly Cheesy

Extremely chessy and childish but could really have been the narrator and how she read it that made it really sound that way I couldn't finish between the narrator and story it was just aweful

Light, easy listen, feel good ending, diversion

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. The last few books I bought I could barely finish. This one had a light content. It was enjoyable with humor and interesting characters. The book flowed. It was not frustrating like my last two or three. I laughed and smiled often.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

It was very good for a light read. I will check out more of her books. It was a great diversion.
For a 4 or 5 star I would save that for a Jeanine Frost book with in depth characters, plot and constant humor and banter. Jeanine's romance and sex scenes were done in perfect amounts, tied with the plot.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes, the narrator was very good I would look for other books done by her. She made the different voices distinct. Her inflection was very good. I enjoyed her immensely.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Most the books I listen to I would not reccomend for a movie or TV series. This one would make a series.

Any additional comments?

I will try another of her books.

Cute and flirty

This book was very enjoyable, not too heavy or angsty like some urban fantasy can be. The characters were believable and fun. The supernatural premise was unique and promises to be something the author can build on in future books in the series (because it is obvious this will be a series).
If there was one criticism, it would be that the main conflict in the book was resolved a little too easily for my taste, I think the story might have been more interesting if there was more to the resolution between the main protagonist and the main antagonist- rather than the quick fix it ended up being.
Other than that, I think it was a great initial book in the series, and I can't wait to read the next book.

Just Ok

The story is light and easy to follow. It's like listening to a soap opera - kind of cliche and a little cheesy. Definitely not the greatest love story ever told, but for an Audible Escape book it's OK. I don't plan on listening to the other books in the series, there's just not enough intrigue or mystery to make it worth pursuing.
